Ira Sherman's work has received national and international acclaim.  Honored as overall
winner of the Kinetic Art Organization International 2004 competition, his art objects appear
in many public and private institutional collections including the Smithsonian Renwick
Gallery, The National Ornamental Metal Museum  the  Spertus Museum and Denver's

Sherman has been elected a distinguished member of the Society of North American
Goldsmiths and is Past Chairman and a founding board member of the Colorado
Metalsmithing Association.
